Not Without Us!
Surviving and living with ME/CFS, Post Covid and Post-Vac. An exhibition from 11 May to 19 December 2026 at the AltstadtQuartier.
The art exhibition was initiated by the #LiegendDemo Augsburg community and was shown at the Zeughaus Augsburg in February 2026. Due to the strong response, it is to continue as a travelling exhibition, coordinated by the Still Loud Project and Elena Liereck.
From 9 May 2026, Kathrin Fuchshuber presents “Leben zurück - Regensburg” as part of #LiegendDemo Regensburg, showing a preview of selected exhibits. The full exhibition planned for Regensburg in early 2028 brings together works by more than 50 affected artists on medical, political and social aspects of the illness.
What does everyday life with a little-researched illness look like? What do the symptoms feel like? What does it mean not to be taken seriously and to have to justify oneself again and again - to doctors, authorities and one’s own surroundings? The participating artists make visible what is often unseen or misunderstood.
The exhibition sees itself as an important contribution to awareness - not only on a scientific level, but also on an emotional one. Art becomes a medium that conveys knowledge, creates empathy and gives courage.

Not Without Us!
We plan to have the exhibition staffed every Monday by an affected person, friend or family member.
