Franz Anton Niedermayr was first mentioned in Regensburg records on 17 September 1801, when, according to the city council minutes, he was granted permission to reside and conduct business in Regensburg.
This marked the beginning of a close and fruitful relationship between the Niedermayr family, their printing company and the city of Regensburg that has now lasted for more than 200 years. Six generations later, this connection continues with the same dedication under Johannes Helmberger, managing director of the traditional family business.
