Small works of art are created from real ostrich eggs:
Fine, hand-milled drawings transform each shell into a unique piece full of poetry.
Softly illuminated from within, they unfold a warm, magical glow: a light that touches both heart and room.

Each lamp is a one-of-a-kind piece, mounted with elegant fittings on driftwood: a piece of nature that tells stories.
In addition to the artfully milled lamps, there are also simple versions without milling, enchanting with their natural beauty and the delicate structure of the egg.

“Katharieder Bauernhanddruck” follows an old craft tradition with enthusiasm and idealism: hand printing. This hand printing is created by the Schleyerbach family in their own craftsmanship and, on request, individually as a personal special or custom-made piece. High quality and sustainability go without saying. For 38 years, “Katharieder Bauernhanddruck” could be found in Kramgasse in the heart of Regensburg’s old town.

For more than 50 years, trained master carpenter Johann Zimmermann has run the chess shop in the AltstadtQuartier. After passing his master craftsman’s examination, Mr. Zimmermann specialized in marquetry at the end of the 1960s and opened a shop for chessboards.

When entering the AltstadtQuartier antiques cabinet, you feel as if you have been transported back a few centuries to the Middle Ages. Treasures and jewelry from all over the world are offered here. The current operator, A. Hammouche, has turned the antiques cabinet into a little jewel box that invites visitors to linger and browse.
